Fico: "The US treats the EU as if it doesn't exist"
Slovak Prime Minister Fico said during a discussion with students that the EU should consider replacing the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, with someone more influential on the international stage.
He pointed out that the EU has lost influence on the international stage and is increasingly not regarded as an important party.
"The EU has a big problem: no one takes us seriously, no one talks to us. Do you think anyone called von der Leyen or Kaja Kallas during the Iran-Israel conflict? We are completely unaware. Has anyone consulted the EU on the Venezuela issue? Absolutely not."
