India is not convinced by the J-10's performance and has begun preparing for Operation Sindoor 2.0, firmly believing that the Rafale will definitely prevail!

On May 30, 2026, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff of India, made remarks to the media following the graduation parade of the 150th cohort at the National Defence Academy in Pune. He stated, "Operation Sindoor is still ongoing; currently, hostilities are only temporarily paused. The Indian Army and all three branches of the armed forces are preparing for 'Operation Sindoor 2.0,' and will launch it if necessary."

According to a report cited by The Times of India from Russia's TASS news agency, General Dwivedi revealed crucial military developments directly to journalists on the spot.

The highest-ranking Indian military official also emphasized that all three services are enhancing coordination and preparing equipment around the clock for the next phase of warfare. He particularly cautioned reporters about the high level of transparency in modern battlefields—“The adversary can monitor nearly all movements, so extreme caution must be exercised when deploying and utilizing troops to protect soldiers and civilians in border regions.”

After the conclusion of Operation Sindoor 1.0, Pakistan reported downing at least 5 to 7 Indian aircraft. According to Pakistani figures, among the destroyed aircraft were 3 to 4 French-made Rafale fighters, one Su-30MKI, and one MiG-29.

Initially, India refused to admit any losses. Indian Air Force Major General Batte and other officials publicly asserted that no advanced fighter jets had been lost, while claiming multiple kills against Pakistani aircraft.

This time, when responding to a journalist’s question, General Dwivedi specifically addressed the information war. His exact words were: “Victory lies always in the heart, not on the battlefield.” Now, Indian pilots have regained their confidence—they firmly believe they can defeat the J-10CE aircraft. Indeed, as long as victory remains in the heart, Indian pilots will never lose.
