Survey: Over half of Americans oppose Trump's three proposed projects

A survey conducted by Ipsos for ABC News and The Washington Post shows that over half of Americans oppose President Donald Trump's proposals to build a ballroom in the White House, construct an archway in honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and add Trump's signature to U.S. dollar bills.

The survey results indicate that 56% of respondents oppose building a White House ballroom, with only 28% supporting the idea. The proposal to erect a triumphal arch at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding received support from just 21% of respondents, while 52% expressed opposition.

Trump’s plan to replace the traditional signature of the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury on dollar bills with his own signature also failed to gain public approval. 68% of respondents disapproved of changing the signature, with only 13% expressing support.

The survey was conducted from April 24 to 28, involving 1,292 adult Americans.
