Putin offered to assist Trump in handling the ongoing U.S.-Iran tensions, though Trump only elaborated briefly: Putin proposed that Russia act as a third party to manage Iran's high-enriched uranium.
Although Trump provided no further details, it should be noted that in the 2015 "Iran nuclear deal," Russia had previously served as a third party receiving Iran’s high-enriched uranium. Earlier, during negotiations between Trump and Iran over nuclear issues, Russia repeatedly suggested acting as it did before—receiving Iran’s enriched uranium.
