Sputnik, Berlin, December 8 - A recent survey conducted by the INSA Institute for Public Opinion for Bild newspaper shows that discontent with the German government has reached a historical high of 70%.

The survey was conducted among 1005 German residents on December 4-5.

The results show that 70% of people are dissatisfied with the government's work; only 21% expressed satisfaction, which is an absolute low record.

According to the report, 68% of respondents have a negative view of Chancellor Merkel's activities, while only 23% have a positive view.
