Iraq says two vessels in the Persian Gulf have gone missing, with no distress signals received

The Iraqi Ports Company announced that two vessels flying the Bolivian flag have lost communication in the Persian Gulf, but no distress signals have been received by professional maritime departments at Iraqi ports.
In a special statement, the company noted: "Neither the navigation management authorities nor the professional search and rescue centers within Iraqi waters have received any messages or distress signals from these two Bolivian-flagged vessels, nor have they entered Iraqi territorial waters." The statement also mentioned that the company has received letters from "multiple port safety agencies across the Persian Gulf region and the owners of the two vessels, requesting any available information, as contact with them has been lost."
The Iraqi Ports Company further stated, "Currently, there is no information regarding the location of the aforementioned vessels," but added, "we will coordinate with search and rescue agencies in regional countries to continue monitoring efforts."
