White House: US Burdened with Debt and Unable to Continue Funding European Security Affairs

National Security Advisor of the United States, Waltz, stated that the US is currently burdened with $33 trillion in debt and cannot continue to fund Europe's security affairs.

In an interview with the US "New York Post," Waltz said, "The US is burdened with $33 trillion in debt and indeed cannot continue to fund Europe's security affairs."

Additionally, Waltz mentioned that some countries, such as Norway and Finland, are committed to increasing defense spending, while Spain, Canada, and Italy have "severely insufficient" defense expenditures.

Waltz emphasized that the Trump administration will continue to provide military and diplomatic assistance to Europe, but the White House will tighten its requirements.

Waltz pointed out, "We will continue to require our allies to pay their share of expenses."
