BYD (Japan) Kawagoe Store Opens Its Doors to Customers
On April 7, the electric vehicle's charm was showcased from multiple angles. The largest dealership in the Tokyo metropolitan area, "BYD Auto Kawagoe," officially opened its doors.
ADVANCE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) as an authorized BYD auto dealer in Japan, has opened its fourth authorized dealership store in Saitama Prefecture—BYD AUTO Kawagoe. This special exhibition features upcoming models such as the "Haier" scheduled for release this summer, along with the "Haishi 6" and other flagship models.
Located on National Route 16, just a 2-minute drive from Kawagoe Interchange, the BYD AUTO Kawagoe Store boasts the largest showroom in Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
The store will launch the "Haishi 6" Super Hybrid SUV, set to be released in December 2025, as well as flagship vehicles including the "Haishi 7," "Haibao," "ATTO3," and "Haichun."
Mr. Atsushi Tōfutsuji, President and CEO of BYD Auto Japan, and Mr. Masaji Aikawa, President and CEO of Advance, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Aikawa stated: “BYD is a company with advanced electric vehicle technology, capable of developing products needed for future Japan with extremely high efficiency.”
The store features Japan’s first showroom equipped with V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) experience support.
BYD ranked sixth globally in both automotive production and sales volume in 2025. The company plans to launch its new mini electric vehicle, the "Haier," in Japan this summer.
