Recently released "The World’s Wealthiest Cities in 2025" report ranked the top 10 wealthiest cities globally, with the United States having four of them. They are New York at the first place, the Bay Area (San Francisco and Silicon Valley) at the second place, Los Angeles at the fifth place, and Chicago at the tenth place.

In the "2025 World's Wealthiest Cities Report," the top 20 wealthiest cities are New York, the Bay Area, Tokyo, Singapore, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Sydney, Chicago, Milan, Beijing, Osaka-Kyoto-Kobe, Shanghai, Toronto, Melbourne, Houston, Dubai, Frankfurt, and Zurich.

Three Chinese cities made it to the top 20 ranking: Hong Kong ranks eighth, Beijing twelfth, and Shanghai fourteenth.

Five U.S. cities made it into the top 20.
