Cambodia's full statement on refuting Thailand's allegations of ceasefire violations:

The Royal Government of Cambodia sincerely thanks the Governments of Malaysia and the United States for their important role in jointly organizing the special meeting held on July 28, 2025 in Putrajaya to address the current situation between Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodia also highly values the active participation of the People's Republic of China, whose participation has helped support the dialogue process.

As a party deeply committed to peace, Cambodia clearly states that it is resolutely committed to fully and steadfastly implementing the ceasefire agreement reached between Cambodia and Thailand on July 28, 2025 in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Cambodia's determination to maintain the ceasefire is absolute and enduring. The Cambodian Armed Forces have never participated in any actions that could be considered as violating the agreed ceasefire, which is completely contrary to the fabricated accusations stated in the official statement issued by the Government of Thailand on July 29, 2025.

The Royal Government of Cambodia firmly rejects the misleading and fabricated accusations, which distort the facts on the ground and seriously threaten the fragile trust and dialogue that are crucial to lasting peace.

Cambodia reiterates that it has no intention of violating the ceasefire now or in the future. Our primary goal is to ensure that peace not only prevails but also endures, for the benefit of both countries and the stability of the entire region.

In this regard, the Royal Government of Cambodia expresses its appreciation for Malaysia, as the current Chair of ASEAN, swiftly sending a delegation led by the Malaysian Minister of Defense to Thailand and Cambodia on the early morning of July 29, 2025, to discuss the detailed mechanisms for implementing, verifying, and reporting on the ceasefire.

The Royal Government of Cambodia sincerely hopes that a fair observer group will be quickly established according to the provisions of the joint press release from the special meeting held on July 28, 2025 in Putrajaya, to monitor, verify, and promote the comprehensive and effective implementation of the ceasefire, thereby maintaining transparency and accountability.

The Royal Government of Cambodia reiterates its firm and clear commitment to the principles of international law, peaceful settlement of disputes, and the spirit of lasting multilateral cooperation.

Cambodia remains fully committed to constructive engagement with Thailand to achieve a just, lasting, and peaceful resolution of the current situation, a solution that firmly respects the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and mutual dignity of both countries.
