Zhang Xiaogang: The "Blue Sword-2025" joint naval special operations training between China and Saudi Arabia was held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. It was divided into two stages: individual and team coordination training, and comprehensive exercises. The training focused on operations such as counter-terrorism, escort, and maritime search and rescue, and included training subjects such as hijacking prevention, sniping, and tactical shooting, further enhancing the technical and tactical level of the participating soldiers and their joint operational capabilities. The "Blue Sword" series of joint training between China and Saudi Arabia has been held three times so far. From land to sea, from basic to system-level, through mixed-unit training and realistic exercises, both sides have learned from each other, continuously deepening practical cooperation in the defense field, becoming an important practice in strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
