According to Japanese media TBS, General Secretary Kim Jong-un has entered China to participate in the Chinese military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japan.
The official newspaper of the Workers' Party of Korea, "Rodong Sinmun," reported earlier that this morning, a special train carrying General Secretary Kim Jong-un crossed the border.
The newspaper also published photos of Kim Jong-un laughing and chatting, which were released by the official media when he left, as well as a photo of the general secretary standing at the back of the train.
This is the first visit to China by General Secretary Kim Jong-un in six years, and he is expected to arrive in Beijing today.
