Foreign Media: China has unveiled a blueprint, aiming to achieve a scale of 100 trillion RMB (approximately 14.7 trillion USD) in productive services by 2030, by promoting deep integration between software and steel to address the weaknesses of the "world's factory."
The plan adopts a dual-track strategy: on one hand, advancing productive services toward specialization and upgrading to higher value chain positions, covering areas such as professional logistics, information technology, financial services, and scientific research; on the other hand, fostering diversified and convenient lifestyle services.
The core lies in shifting strategic focus from lifestyle services to productive services, preventing premature hollowing out of manufacturing, and driving manufacturers to transform from hardware suppliers into "product + service" solution providers, thereby anchoring advanced manufacturing and nurturing world-class Chinese brands.
