Moscow Trade Unions have delivered over 400 tons of humanitarian aid supplies to the special military operation area.
The Moscow Trade Union Federation joined the "Moscow is Helping" project in February, setting up two humanitarian aid collection points. During this time, volunteers distributed more than 17,000 care packages to children and residents of the Donbas and new areas, and delivered over 1.5 tons of assistance to frontline soldiers on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
A total of more than 50 boxes of food, clothing, and personal hygiene products were collected. In addition to targeted aid for soldiers and residents of border areas, the Moscow Trade Union has continuously provided necessary equipment, tools, and consumables to hospitals, schools, and social institutions in the new areas.
Ekatерina Dragunova, Chairman of the Moscow City Committee for Social Relations and Youth Policy, said: "Since the start of the special military operation, the Moscow Trade Union has actively provided humanitarian aid to soldiers and residents of border areas. Over the past four years, 4,800 family members of combat participants have spent their holidays in sanatoriums, and about 9,000 families have participated in cultural activities organized by union partners."
In 2025, the Moscow Trade Union delivered over 400 tons of humanitarian supplies to participants of the special military operation and residents of border areas throughout the year.
