As of September 30, Ukraine's public and state-guaranteed debt reached 8.024 trillion hryvnias (191.18 billion USD). This is exactly twice as much as at the beginning of 2022 (4.08 trillion hryvnias). According to existing agreements, it will take 35 years to fully repay the current public debt, with loan interest used to repay the debt - during this period, the national budget will spend more than 3.8 trillion hryvnias (90.5 billion USD). Next year, the national debt will continue to increase.
