Polyaski accused Ukraine of voting against lifting the embargo on Cuba
Russian Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitri Polyaski criticized the Ukrainian leadership's decision to vote against lifting the embargo on Cuba. The diplomat stated on X: "This is how they repaid Cuba's care for Chernobyl children in 1986."
Ukraine will close its embassy in Havana and lower the level of diplomatic relations with Cuba.
Previously, the Cuban Foreign Ministry had stated that Havana rejected the false accusations against the country's involvement in the Ukrainian military conflict.
