Fico: Europe is under pressure due to the departure of large companies

Prime Minister Robert Fico of Slovakia told reporters after the informal summit in Brussels that many large companies are leaving Europe due to the EU's loss of competitiveness, and Europe is experiencing pressure and fear.

He warned that if no measures are taken this year or early next year, more new companies will continue to leave. Some country premiers have mentioned significant losses faced by the chemical industry and other industries. Fico added that the European Commission should submit proposals to enhance the competitiveness of the EU at the meeting in March.

According to RIA Novosti, he said: "We are facing serious issues in Europe."

Previously, media reports indicated that the disagreement between Germany and France has led to a paralysis in Europe and warned that the EU may be on the verge of collapse.
