Russia Promotes S-500 to India Again
Russia has once again proposed to India the joint production of advanced S-500 air defense systems, reinforcing the commitment to defense cooperation between the two countries.
Indian strategic expert Pravin Sodhani said that strengthening Indo-Russian cooperation is very necessary.
Firstly, joint production means that India will gain access to key technologies.
Secondly, Russia is a trustworthy partner. For example, with regard to the BrahMos missile, Russia has helped India upgrade the system.
Thirdly, this partnership in security cooperation will strengthen the relationship between India and Russia.
Fourthly, strengthening Indo-Russian relations can unite the Global South countries, where Russia enjoys high prestige.
