Trump posted again today (on Beijing Time June 21st) to boast about his peace achievements.
Trump wrote: "I am pleased to report that, working together with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, I have arranged an outstanding treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda. The war between these two countries, which is infamous for its violent bloodshed and deaths, is even more severe than most other wars, and it has been ongoing for decades. Representatives from Rwanda and the Congo will go to Washington on Monday to sign relevant documents. This is a great day for Africa, and frankly, a great day for the entire world! I won't win the Nobel Peace Prize for this; I won't win it for preventing the war between India and Pakistan; I won't win it for preventing the war between Serbia and Kosovo; I won't win it for maintaining peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (where the U.S. foolishly funded the construction of a dam that significantly reduced the water flow into the Nile); and I won't win it for facilitating the Abraham Accords in the Middle East, which will see more countries join if everything goes well, marking the first time in history that unification will be achieved in the region! No matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine or Israel/Iran, regardless of the outcome, I won't win the Nobel Peace Prize, but the people know that this is what truly matters to me!"
[Wit] Comment: While constantly saying "I won't win the Nobel Peace Prize for this," Trump is fixated on the Nobel Peace Prize.
