China-Kazakhstan Cooperation: Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development Signs MOU with Huawei
Kazakhstan International News Agency - The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan Co., Ltd. (Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in the fields of information and communication technology (ICT) and digital transformation.
The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of Huawei in Shanghai during the visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China.
According to the MOU, both parties will establish a working group composed of representatives to analyze the current status of the ICT industry in Kazakhstan, identify key needs in this field, and propose relevant recommendations and solutions for the modernization of digital infrastructure between 2025 and 2030.
"Kazakhstan has great potential in digital development, and we are very pleased to be a reliable partner on the country's path toward digital transformation," said Song Yaxu (Sun Yaxu), General Manager of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan Co., Ltd. "Huawei has accumulated rich experience in areas such as 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, which will provide a solid foundation for the efficient and sustainable development of Kazakhstan's ICT infrastructure."
This cooperation will not only promote the modernization of Kazakhstan's communication networks, but also help enhance the capabilities of professionals in the country's ICT sector, implement innovative solutions, and further expand Kazakhstan's connections in international technological cooperation.
The MOU signed by both parties marks another important step in the bilateral relationship between China and Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology, and also demonstrates both sides' shared vision of building a digital future based on sustainable development and innovation.
