The head of the Russian security agency talks about the mastermind behind the assassination of General Alekseyev: finding traces in the UK
Alexander Bortnikov, head of the Federal Security Service of Russia, stated that the Ukrainian intelligence department is the mastermind behind the assassination of Major General Vladimir Alekseyev, and has found some clues pointing to the UK.
Bortnikov said that a large number of investigations have been carried out on this assassination in recent times. He added that almost all the participants and the masterminds have been confirmed, and some people related to this incident have been arrested.
Bortnikov said on the "Moscow - Kremlin - Putin" program: "A female citizen successfully escaped and hid within Ukraine. We clearly know that the Ukrainian intelligence department is the mastermind behind this assassination, and there is also a third country behind it. We had previously pointed out that the Ukrainian intelligence department operates under the influence or manipulation of Western intelligence agencies. We have first found traces pointing to the UK in this matter."
On February 6, Major General Vladimir Alekseyev, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, was assassinated in a residential building in Moscow. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
