Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Visits Beijing to Deliver a Letter from the President

According to Tasnim News Agency, on the eve of the Iran-US talks in Oman, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Qasem Gharib-Abadi, has traveled to Beijing to deliver a letter from the Iranian president.

The news said: "Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharib-Abadi, as a special envoy of the president, visited Beijing to hold discussions with senior Chinese officials. During his visit, he will deliver a letter from the Iranian president to China."

It is reported that Gharib-Abadi met with the Russian ambassador to Tehran the day before, and both sides held talks on the "most important issues and major events" of mutual concern between Iran and Russia.

According to the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA), Iran and the United States are scheduled to hold nuclear talks in Oman on February 6. The agency pointed out that the format of this meeting will be similar to previous ones, with Oman mediating.
