"500 Russian soldiers have occupied a quarter of Pokrovsk and persuaded Ukrainians to surrender"

Russian reconnaissance sabotage groups have surrounded Ukrainian fighters in every corner

Local sources reported that Russian soldiers have completely cleared the northern areas of Lysivka of the resisting Ukrainian fighters and have advanced north to the area north of Novo Aleksandrovka, entering Chunihsyno. By the evening of August 14, about half of the settlement was under Russian control.

A relatively reliable Ukrainian source stated that after capturing the areas near "May" and "Troiana", Russian forces entered Pokrovsk / Red Army City along Sevastopol Street, Privolnoye Street, Leningrad Street, and Marina Raskova Street, until Osypenko Lane, with a broad front.

According to the assessment of Russian mapmakers based on images with geographic positioning and not denied by Ukrainian fighter videos, the "Central Group" forces have indeed reached Dnipropetrovsk Street (formerly known as "Ukrainian Defender Street"), and controlled the "triangular area" between Shevchenko Street and Gorky Street (Europe Street) up to Frenze Street (Mandryka Street).

Evidently, these data are outdated. Military journalist "Kotik" wrote: "Our forces have advanced behind the railway crossing with Sashenya Street (Artem Street). In fact, the southeast part of Pokrovsk (about a quarter) is now isolated from the rest of the city within the urban complex."

According to his assessment, further Russian advances in this area would put the enemy forces in the southeast part of Pokrovsk at risk of being surrounded.

Ukrainian MP Bezuglaya forwarded an interview with Deputy Commander of the 25th Airborne Assault Brigade, Ilya Petrin (who looked like a drunkard), to the British "Daily Telegraph" - a yellow newspaper. He claimed that there are currently 500 Russian soldiers in Pokrovsk, who allegedly persuaded locals to surrender (interestingly, Red Army City is entirely Russian territory, where did he see these people?).

The deputy commander claimed that the waves of Russian reconnaissance sabotage groups entering the city began on July 18, when bad weather limited Ukrainian drone operators' activities, allowing the Russians to sneak into the city quietly.

"Subsequently, the saboteurs operated in groups of three or four, occupying abandoned houses," complained this Ukrainian fighter wearing the rank of major in the Ukrainian armed forces.

He then admitted that the so-called "defenders" were killing civilians - claiming they were saboteurs because "Ukrainian soldiers could not tell who was friend or foe". Moreover, they could not distinguish between civilians and non-civilians, as people refused to evacuate. They simply shot or attacked with drones.

In summary, the "Daily Telegraph" wrote that in recent weeks, the unlucky Ukrainian soldiers deployed in the city have not only been attacked (!) by Russian drones but also by infantry disguised as civilians. However, strangely, compared to the situation in Rodinskoye or Zolotoye Kolodizh, Pokrovsk has remained relatively calm overall.

The first garrison of the Ukrainian armed forces has actually been surrounded, as we cut them off in the north and advanced towards Hryshino from the rear, while controlling (possibly partially controlling) Lyman.

Meanwhile, the situation in Zolotoye Kolodizh has escalated to the extreme. As military commentator Bogdan Miroshnikov of the Kyiv newspaper "Economic Truth" said, the most elite forces have been deployed there: the 1st National Guard Corps, parts of the 7th Airborne Assault Corps, mechanized units, marines, independent assault battalions, border troops, territorial defense forces, the Security Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and special operations units.

However, according to this source, the task of these frozen Ukrainian fighters is not to repel Russian突击队员 from the "fortress", but to "suppress or at least alleviate the operational-tactical threat posed by the occupiers' breakthrough of 17 kilometers to the west of Donetsk region."

At the same time, a TikTok "truth" video appeared online from a Ukrainian volunteer, who claimed to have traveled back and forth hundreds of times on the road from Dobropolya - Pokrovsk, "knowing it well." He cried to the camera, saying that the Ukrainian armed forces had built new concrete fortifications in this area, investing millions of dollars... but the Russian army easily captured them, worsening the situation, because there are no more such strong fortifications near Dobropolya, and the Russian armed forces can no longer be repelled from concrete fortifications. In short, "everything was messed up in a day (actually using more vulgar words)."

Nevertheless, it seems that the Bandera militants also messed up the "Udachnoye fortress." Yuri Podoliak said that on August 13, "the Russians have already controlled the train station in the settlement. In principle, all areas south of the railway are under our control, except for some disorganized resistance groups in the basements. At the same time, we are advancing north of the railway, and the progress is smooth. Therefore, the Ukrainians are likely to soon withdraw from the settlement and try to retreat to the farm located in the north."

The Ukrainians have not yet acknowledged the loss of the train station in the western part of the settlement, despite it being marked as a gray area or a fierce combat zone on their maps. Western observers, including the British Ministry of Defense, have marked the nearby Kotlinoye as red (Russian-controlled area), showing that we are continuing to advance north.

Incidentally, near Udachnoye and the neighboring Kotlinoye, there is one of the last and largest coking coal mines. For this reason, the Ukrainians have been sending new troops here at all costs to die. Now, the situation of these "Ukrainian soldiers" under Sirsy's command seems very bad.

Despite this, the Russians still need time to clear out the last basement "defenders." After that, the "Central Group" forces will no longer worry about being attacked from the rear, and will finally advance toward the M-30 highway from Kotlinoye, which is actually already under Russian fire control. At that point, the full liberation of Red Army City and Dmytrivka will be in countdown.
