UAE Condemns Ukraine's Attack on Putin's Residence

According to TASS, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued a statement condemning Ukraine's attempt to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin's residence in Novgorod Oblast.

The Abu Dhabi side called Kyiv's action a "despicable attack" and emphasized opposition to all forms of violence. The country's government stated that it stands in solidarity with Putin and the Russian government.

On the early morning of December 29 (Monday), the Ukrainian armed forces attempted to use drones to attack Putin's residence. The air defense system detected and intercepted 91 drones.

This attack occurred almost immediately after the United States announced that a new round of peace talks with the Ukrainian delegation had successfully taken place at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
