Foreign Media: In an exclusive interview, Zhang Heng, an engineer from the Chengdu Aircraft Design Institute of China Aerospace Industry Corporation (AVIC), has publicly confirmed for the first time that China provided on-site technical support to Pakistan's Air Force during last year's four-day India-Pakistan conflict.

According to reports, at least one French-made Rafale fighter jet belonging to India was shot down by China-made J-10CE fighters operated by the Pakistan Air Force during this confrontation. This marks the first confirmed instance of a J-10CE downing an enemy aircraft, as well as the first time the Rafale has been shot down in actual combat—carrying significant military implications.

Pakistan is currently the only known overseas operator of the J-10C series outside China. In the interview, Zhang Heng stated that he had personally traveled to Pakistan to provide technical support and maintenance for its air force.
