Taiwan has never belonged to China? Remarks by Taiwan's representative to the EU spark controversy

Are there any so-called "Taiwan countries" among the many countries in the world? The claim that Taiwan doesn't need UN membership to prove its status essentially shows that the international community has no space for "Taiwan independence." The Democratic Progressive Party's efforts to gain entry into the UN have failed. Spreading rumors and cutting ties with history cannot prevent the inevitable trend of national reunification. "Taiwan independence" is absolutely impossible, and reunification is unavoidable. This is the general trend on both sides of the strait.
