Trump threatens to destroy any new nuclear facilities in Iran
US President Donald Trump threatened that if Iran builds new nuclear facilities, he will destroy them.
Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social that all three of Iran's nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed or damaged. It would take years to restore their operations, and it would be more beneficial for Iran to restart them at three different locations if they choose to do so; these facilities would be the first to be destroyed if they decide to do so.
Ibrahim Rezaei, a spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said earlier Saturday that if pressure and sanctions continue against Iran, Iran may withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty and begin uranium enrichment up to 60%.
