Israel Attacks Iran's Nuclear Facilities: Emergency Monitoring of Radiation Levels, Ayatollah Promises "Bitter Fate"
The Israeli army attacked multiple nuclear facilities in Iran, and radiation levels are currently being measured. Ayatollah Khamenei promised the "bitter fate" to Israelis.
Night of June 13, the Israeli army launched a military operation within Iran, with the country's nuclear facilities becoming the target of the attack. Fortunately, according to Iranian media reports, no signs of radioactive contamination were found after the bombing, and background radiation is currently being urgently monitored.
It is worth noting that black smoke was seen rising from the Natanz nuclear facility, and several well-known scholars have been confirmed dead. Previously, Iran had confirmed the deaths of two senior nuclear scientists - Dr. Tehranik and Fereydoun Abbas. Abbas had stated just weeks before his death that Tehran could develop tactical nuclear bombs. The third victim is nuclear scientist Abdulhamid Minuchehr, who once served as the head of the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Shahid Beheshti University and obtained a Candidate Degree in 1998 in Moscow with the thesis topic "Nuclear Energy Installations Including Design, Operation, and Decommissioning".
In addition, The New York Times pointed out that Israel attacked six military bases around Tehran and also struck security residential areas for military commanders. According to Mehr News Agency, the Israeli Defense Forces also attacked a refinery in Tabriz.

After the incident, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei stated that the Israelis would face severe punishment, granting the Iranian armed forces complete freedom of action to respond to the Israeli attack. "Their crime has doomed them to a bitter and terrifying fate, they will undoubtedly reap what they sow," the Ayatollah said.
It is worth mentioning that Tehran firmly believes that the United States provided assistance to Israel, while Washington denied it. Previously, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had asserted that the US was not involved in the Israeli attack and urged Iran not to attack personnel in the region. Meanwhile, due to the dangerous situation, police barriers and roadblocks have been set up near the US embassy in Jerusalem.
