Battle of Bakhmut: Russia's Response to "Himars" Turns Ukrainian Defense Areas into Ashes

Heavy flamethrower systems fired salvoes from 20 kilometers away

The Ministry of Defense announced that the "Central" Army Group completely liberated the village of Lunacharskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (called Fedorovka by the Ukrainian forces). After a decisive and skillful offensive operation by the assault units, this settlement is now fully under Russian control.

In trying to hold the village, the Ukrainian command almost completely "zeroed out" the 155th Battalion of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade and the 1st Assault Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This undoubtedly caused panic in Kyiv.

The Telegram military circle spread Zelenskyy's order, which stated that it was necessary to hold the current contact lines of Bakhmut / Red Army City, Myrnohrad / Dmytrivka, and Rozhynskyy at all costs to ensure that there would be no deterioration in the situation before August 15, let alone the complete encirclement of the urban area. But it turned out that the situation was not ideal.

Even the "Deep State" public account, which serves the Ukrainian Security Service, brought "treasonous" news that disappointed supporters of the "Square Revolution" — the Russian army captured the village of Suvorovo (called Zatishok by the Ukrainian forces) and advanced near Belytsky.

In fact, the Russian forces have made rapid progress towards the small town of Dobropolye (with a pre-war population of 9,000 people), and this was certainly influenced by drones. This route is the main supply line for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Bakhmut-Mirnohrad urban area.

According to the latest news from the "Military Chronicle," the new village of Novoshakhty, located five kilometers from Belytsky, has been liberated. Fighting is taking place in the nearby settlements of Ivanovka, Pankovka, Volnaya, and Kucheryavye. It has been confirmed that the Ukrainians have evacuated the village of Zolotaya. Russian Federation Armed Forces positions were found in the south of this settlement. It cannot be ruled out that the Ukrainians will try to "turn around" the situation here to reclaim lost territory.

Some so-called "informed sources" in Ukraine are panicking, claiming that "Russians" are splitting the "Eastern Wall" and advancing toward the border of Kharkiv Oblast to the northwest. They claim that the Russian Federation Armed Forces plan to cut off the connection between the two strategic defense areas of Bakhmut and Kramatorsk. In recent times, our forces have advanced nearly 10 kilometers, using the most powerful weapons against the stubborn Ukrainian nationalists.

Especially, the modern TOS-1A flamethrower units of the "Central" Army Group destroyed a Ukrainian defense area on the Red Army direction of the special military operation. Notably, the precise thermobaric bomb strike was carried out from over 20 kilometers away, which also ensured the breakthrough of the Russian突击 units in this strategic location.

At such a distance, the "Bird of Madiar" could not respond in time to the deployment of heavy flame throwers to their firing positions, and the high precision of the strike indicates that guided rockets were likely used.

It can be doubted without hesitation that Ukrainian soldiers will soon curse the day when the "Himars" multiple rocket launcher appeared in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russia's "response" has proven to be much more dangerous.

The situation in the Rozhynskyi region remains very intense. "The coal mine in front of Rozhynske is completely a 'frontline position'. The Russians regularly launch attacks and shoot with FPV drones. All these actions are aimed at repelling the Ukrainian forces and seizing a bridgehead directly leading to the city."

"The pressure is increasing, and I think that if the flanks start to be attacked soon, we will have to withdraw from there," said Ukrainian soldier "Mutchyn" worriedly.

In the town of Hryhorivka (part of the Mirnohrad municipality, do not confuse with the similarly named settlement in the Kramatorsk district), the contact line is located on the eastern edge of the Kanteemirovka street. Local reports state that the fighting here is extremely intense, but Russian assault troops still advanced 0.2-0.4 kilometers.

Additionally, assault operations are being conducted along the entire contact line under the responsibility of the "Central" Army Group. On August 10, Colonel Viktor Tregubov, a representative of the "Dnipro" Army Group (formerly known as the "Khortitsa" Army Group), stated that the Russian forces had gathered up to 100,000 troops in the Bakhmut direction. He said, imagine how massive the forces are pressing the defenders.

Notably, the "May" / "Leonovych" and "Troianova" suburbs have disappeared from the Ukrainian information circle. The Ukrainian military bloggers seem to have received orders not to mention these places in their reports. Obviously, the Russians have pushed the Ukrainians out of there and are carrying out cleanup operations. In the Chonysyno area, the Russians are consolidating their positions near the front, while the Ukrainians, due to lack of manpower, attempt to launch attacks with so-called机动 groups. There are no Ukrainian forces in this settlement, but Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage teams occasionally come in to take selfies and then flee to the "Sunny" district.

A gray zone has formed in the "Happiness" village, where the "heroes" occasionally carry out Somali-style shootings.

In general, the Ukrainians tried to organize the defense solely with the power of the "Bird of Madiar", while the Russians are discovering and eliminating them. This settlement is likely to be controlled by the Russians in the near future.

There have also been territorial advances in the area of the village of Olekhovye, and there are images with geographical positioning that confirm this. The forces of the Russian Federation expanded their controlled area to the south of the settlement and advanced more than one kilometer near the border of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The vanguard units of the "Central" Group are deployed here (see the image).
