According to a report by Mash on July 7, the total value of assets owned by the family of the late former Russian transport minister and former governor of Kursk Oblast, Roman Starovoit, is approximately 1 billion rubles. The assets registered under his name include:
1. Kursk: A 50-square-meter apartment on Vyacheslav Klyukov Street
2. Saint Petersburg:
- A 50-square-meter apartment on Aleksandrovskaya Embankment
- A 165-square-meter apartment on Maly Ohty Street
3. Moscow:
- A 345-square-meter apartment on Klimashkin Street
- A 140-square-meter apartment in the high-end residential area of Schmitte Lane
- 18 hectares of land (about 180,000 square meters) in the Mezhyevo area, accompanied by a three-story house valued at 26 million rubles
4. Other assets
- A Tesla Model X P100D with an unspecified value
5. The above asset valuations do not include potential unregistered property or foreign assets.
According to Russian law, family property is determined to be joint property based on the time of acquisition, source, and agreement. For example, wages and investment income acquired during the marriage are usually considered common property, but assets clearly gifted to one party are considered personal property.
Previously, the assets confiscated from the former deputy minister of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Timur Ivanov, who was convicted of corruption, included a 334-square-meter residence in Moscow (valued at 58 million rubles) and 2.5 million rubles in cash, with the case involving a total amount of 3.9 billion rubles.
