The confrontation between the two ships appears to be a "one-to-one" situation, but in reality, it reflects the fundamental differences between the mainland and Taiwan's naval forces in terms of equipment generation, system support, and mission objectives.

The appearance of the 054A ship in the "Haikun" test submergence area is likely to be carrying out intelligence gathering, situational monitoring, or even anti-submarine deterrence missions—after all, the most vulnerable phase for a submarine is the initial stages of trial navigation, and the proximity of surface ships can effectively compress its hidden space.

The Taiwan military's deployment of the "Suyu" ship to respond is more of a symbolic statement. With its aging condition, trying to confront the 534 frigate is truly overestimating its abilities.
