Iran's Vice President: Iran will provide 20,000 megawatts of electricity for the country through nuclear power plants via Russia
Sputnik News, Moscow, September 22 - Iran's Vice President and Chairman of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, stated that Iran and Russia will sign a series of cooperation development documents, and Iran will involve Russia in its energy security through the development of nuclear power plants.
Eslami told Iranian media upon arriving in Moscow that during the "World Nuclear Energy Week" event, Iran and Russia will exchange and sign cooperation development documents. The Iranian embassy released a clip of Eslami answering questions from reporters.
When talking about Iran's plan to provide 20,000 megawatts of electricity for the country through the construction of nuclear power plants, Eslami emphasized: "There was an agreement between the two governments, and Russia will play a certain role in this process."
