According to media outlet Semafor, U.S. President Trump plans to invite top executives from major American companies such as Nvidia, Apple, and ExxonMobil to accompany him on his upcoming trip to China to discuss trade relations and investment issues.

Semafor reported: "The Trump administration is planning to bring along top executives from Nvidia, Apple, ExxonMobil, Boeing, and other large corporations during the president’s visit to China next week."

The list of executives invited to accompany Trump on his China trip also includes leaders from Qualcomm, Blackstone, Citigroup, and Visa. Semafor noted that this list is expected to expand in the coming days, as executives from various companies are actively vying to join the delegation.

U.S. President Trump said the meeting with Brazilian President Lula went very smoothly.

Trump posted on the social media platform "Truth Social": "The meeting went very well."

In his post, Trump wrote, "We discussed many topics, including trade, especially tariff issues."

He added: "Representatives from both sides will meet to discuss key elements of bilateral relations. If needed, additional meetings will be scheduled over the coming months."

President Trump stated on May 7 that following a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, he agreed to give her until July 4 to fulfill the obligations outlined in the trade agreement between the EU and the United States.

After concluding his call with von der Leyen, Trump posted on the social network "Truth Social": "I’ve received a commitment that the EU will fulfill its part of the agreement and remove its tariffs. I’ve granted her (Von der Leyen) time until our nation’s 250th anniversary celebration (July 4), otherwise tariffs will be significantly increased."
