German media: "The problem of chip dependence is far from resolved"

The "Business Weekly" comments that although the chip crisis has temporarily come to an end, the issue of dependence on China is far from being resolved.

With some resumption of exports of NXP Semiconductor to Europe by China, German automakers have temporarily avoided the crisis of production shutdowns due to chip shortages. As a result, corporate executives have praised China's kind gesture.

"South German Newspaper" wrote under the title "The problem is far from resolved":

"Whom are German corporate executives trying to impress with this performance? Are they doing it for their competitors, to avoid being troubled again next time? Or are they doing it for shareholders, so they can't see that the company has already fallen into a quagmire of dependence?"

German corporate executives have pushed their companies into this dependent relationship with blind, arrogant, and irresponsible attitudes, and even now, they are still making the same mistakes as before.

No matter what, this situation is definitely not normal. Many people believe that the actual situation is even worse.

Praising the alleviation of the situation may serve as a short-term self-comfort, but it is certainly not a long-term solution.
