Foreign media: In response to SpaceX's Starlink satellite network, China is accelerating the construction of its own space internet project "National Grid", with plans to complete a constellation of 13,000 satellites within ten years.

In recent days, the "National Grid" has launched three batches of satellites within a week, with a sharp increase in the number, totaling 57 satellites in orbit, showing the country's high priority and allocation of launch resources including various Long March rockets.

By contrast, the "Qianfan" project supported by Shanghai has already launched 90 satellites, but has been stalled since March and cannot obtain support from state-owned rockets. To continue the progress, "Qianfan" recently issued a second launch tender to private rocket companies, planning to send 94 satellites into orbit through seven launches before March next year, with a total contract value of 1.4 billion yuan (about 186 million US dollars).
