China Develops the World's First Anti-Low-Orbit Satellite Weapon, Capable of Attacking Starlink System
Scientists from the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology in China have announced the development of a revolutionary microwave weapon. This system, designated as TPG1000Cs, can generate 20 gigawatts of pulsed energy within one minute. The device poses a significant threat to satellite constellations such as Starlink, potentially causing their systems to become paralyzed.
The TPG1000Cs system is a four-meter-long and five-ton device that offers deployment flexibility, allowing it to be adapted for installation on trucks and ships. Its core advantage lies in its breakthrough in continuous operation duration, achieving a qualitative leap compared to earlier models that could only operate for a few seconds. The system also demonstrates outstanding performance, capable of generating up to 3000 high-energy pulses per operation, with comprehensive indicators far surpassing international counterparts.
Such weapons, when deployed in space, would significantly increase their power. Due to the stealthy nature of the pulses, which are difficult to detect and track, their deterrent capability would be doubled.
