Sputnik Moscow, February 18 - Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that Russia's cooperation with Cuba does not pose a threat to the United States.

Lavrov said during talks with Cuban Foreign Minister Rodriguez: "Of course, we firmly deny the baseless accusations that Russia and Cuba's cooperation poses a threat to the United States."

Lavrov also said that Russia calls on the United States to abandon its plan to impose a naval blockade on Cuba.
