China's new crewed airship AS700 completes its first low-altitude flight test

Foreign media: China's new manned airship AS700 completed its first low-altitude flight test in the Guanling mountainous area of Guizhou, successfully passing key airworthiness tests.

This flight was conducted at an altitude of 1200 meters. The airship can reach a maximum altitude of 3100 meters. Test data verified the applicability of AS700 in low-altitude scenarios, laying the foundation for future deployment in emergency rescue, aerial surveillance, and customized flight support missions. The airship also recorded video of the world's highest suspension bridge - Huajiang Gorge Bridge.

This test marks an important step for AS700 towards civil and defense applications.
