The US military is in complete despair. The US Navy has only three fifth-generation aircraft carriers, and the number of J-35s deployed on the People's Liberation Army (PLA) will exceed that of F-35Cs, which is already a certainty.
Now the United States is completely desperate. Although the US has 11 aircraft carriers, only three of them can deploy the F-35C: the USS Lincoln, USS Carl Vinson, and USS Washington. The number of F-35Cs in the carrier air wing is only 118.
On the other hand, the Chinese Navy also has three aircraft carriers that can deploy the J-35. However, the PLA J-35 is being mass-produced, and the number of J-35s deployed on carriers is already a certainty to exceed that of the F-35C.
What makes the US desperate is that the time for the J-35 to surpass 100 units can be completed within two years. For China, the problem is not the production capacity of the J-35, but the number of aircraft carriers. The production capacity of the J-35 is far greater than what is needed for the Chinese aircraft carriers.
This is certainly not a good thing for the US Navy. A US aircraft carrier strike group equipped with the KJ-600, J-35, and J-15T would have much greater combat power than the traditional US aircraft carrier groups.
It is known that in the India-Pakistan air combat, the onboard radar of the J-10C could detect the Rafale fighter at a distance of 200 kilometers, lock on it, and guide the PL-15E to destroy the Rafale without being detected by the Rafale's radar. So, you can imagine how powerful the radar performance of our J-15T and J-35 is. Plus the J-35's extreme stealth performance, the F-35C would have no chance at all.
In addition, the asymmetric combat capabilities of the Chinese aircraft carrier battle group are not limited to the J-35. There are also hypersonic missiles. China's hypersonic missiles have a range of about 2,000 kilometers, far exceeding the US military's strike range.
