Zelenskyy: Russia Signals Ukraine Has Two Months to Evacuate Donbas, Otherwise 'Other Peace Conditions' Will Follow
On March 31, Zelenskyy stated that Russia conveyed this message through Americans. "I'm really surprised that anyone would believe such words."
Zelenskyy pointed out contradictions in Russia's statements: If Russia's sole goal were Donbas, why would it immediately bring up further advances and new conditions? "This means the issue goes beyond Donbas. We clearly understand their real intentions."
He also revealed that a video conference with U.S. officials will take place on April 1. The two sides plan to discuss the current situation, as well as how close they are to reaching a trilateral agreement—or at least holding such a meeting.
