[Araudinov: Russian Army Inflicted Heavy Losses on Colombian Mercenaries in Kursk]

On May 22, TASS reported that Major General Araudinov, commander of the "Ahmat" Special Forces and deputy director of the Russian Ministry of Defense's Military-Political Directorate, stated that the Colombian mercenaries who entered Kursk Oblast suffered significant losses and realized that "Russia is not a hunting ground."

Araudinov pointed out: "The Colombians were indeed present in Kursk Oblast, but they were quickly depleted. They finally understood that Russia is not a hunting preserve, nor a resort destination."

The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that the Kiev regime uses foreign mercenaries as "cannon fodder." Most mercenaries admitted in interviews that the Ukrainian military command was chaotic, with survival rates far lower than those on the Afghan and Middle Eastern battlefields. According to March data, more than 13,300 foreign mercenaries have participated in combat operations in Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation.
