French media: Germany's Ministry of Economy expects Nexperia to resume chip supply

According to AFP, citing a representative from Germany's Ministry of Economy in Berlin, the ministry expects Nexperia to resume chip supply.

Due to the chip shortage, Germany is facing the shutdown of some car factories. In particular, the management of Volkswagen Group has previously reported that production may be limited as a result.

AFP reported that on Saturday, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce advised companies facing chip issues to seek help from it.

A representative from Germany's Ministry of Economy said in response to AFP's inquiry: "The latest news from China is the first positive signal that the chip supply situation is easing."

However, he found it difficult to predict the subsequent development of the chip supply situation.
