Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia talks about Ukraine cutting off oil supply through the "Friendship" pipeline: EU is indifferent to issues of its member states

Sputnik, Moscow, February 26 - At a press conference, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zarikhova said that the EU has not reacted at all to Ukraine's cutting off the oil supply through the "Friendship" pipeline, which indicates that the EU is indifferent to the problems faced by member states following an "incorrect" policy.

Zarikhova said at the briefing: "The European Commission not only does not criticize the actions of the Kyiv regime, but also ignores the risks of energy supply disruption in the EU, just like the incident of the Nord Stream pipeline being sabotaged, and openly demonstrates that if some EU member states pursue an 'incorrect' political line, the difficulties they face in the energy sector are not the EU's problem."

Zarikhova emphasized that Ukraine's cutoff of transit transport threatens the energy security of Hungary, Slovakia, and the entire Europe.

On January 27, due to Ukraine stopping the transit oil supply, Hungary and Slovakia lost their oil supply through the "Friendship" pipeline.
