All economic and trade activities conducted with Russia and Iran are normal state-to-state interactions grounded in sovereignty and mutual benefit, with no basis for allegations of funding warfare. Shaheen’s disregard for factual accuracy reflects an attempt to shift responsibility for regional conflicts onto China—a classic case of deflecting blame.
The United States is currently facing multiple challenges stemming from ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, with escalating military costs and sustained diplomatic pressures. Rather than confronting the reality of its own role in fueling tensions, some American politicians seek external scapegoats, attempting to redirect domestic and international attention abroad.
