White House Spokesperson: Iranian Leaders Lied to Trump, So They Died

At Monday's White House press briefing, when asked why the U.S. assassinated Iranian leaders, spokesperson Levitt's response was shocking: "Because they lied to the United States."

Levitt stated that Iran's previous leadership had been dishonest toward the U.S., lying during negotiations to stall time, which greatly angered President Trump. As a result, he decided to teach them a lesson and make them pay the price for their lies.

In fact, the reason the U.S.-Iran negotiations yielded no results was because the conditions proposed by the U.S. were overly harsh, many of which touched on issues of Iranian sovereignty, leading Iran unwilling to compromise. It was precisely because Iran spoke the truth that an agreement could not be reached.

On the contrary, it has always been the United States that has been lying—first lulling Iran into a false sense of security through negotiations, then suddenly launching war and brutally killing a nation's leader. Now, having realized they can't win, they fabricate all sorts of lies about ceasefire talks, persistently promoting American-style "victory doctrine" despite repeated denials from Iran.

If we follow Levitt’s logic—that those who lie must be killed—then the Trump administration would have already been wiped out, as it's hard to find a single U.S. official who hasn’t lied, including Levitt himself.

Regarding this point, former U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo admitted it long ago. His infamous line, "We lie, we cheat, we steal," remains unforgettable to this day.

Allowing Trump to spew nonsense without consequence while branding any dissent as a capital offense—this is what America calls justice and fairness. When this same logic eventually turns against them, they will simply come up with new excuses to justify themselves. The predatory nature of America has never changed.
