Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that Iran conducted strikes on a U.S.-owned petrochemical facility located in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier reports from the morning of the 7th indicated that petrochemical facilities in southern Iran, including those in Shiraz and Asaluyeh, were struck. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched the 99th wave of its "Real Commitment 4" operation against the United States and Israel as retaliation for the attack on Iran’s petrochemical plants.
According to Fars News Agency citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the first phase of the operation targeted Saudi Arabia’s largest petrochemical complex, which belongs to U.S. companies SADARA, ExxonMobil, and Dow Chemical, as well as a petrochemical plant owned by U.S. Chevron Phillips Chemical Company.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that medium-range missiles and several suicide drones were used during the strikes.
The Iranian military reported that Iran targeted power generation units and fuel storage facilities at a petrochemical plant near Dimona in southern Israel, repair centers in Jebel Ali Port in the UAE, radar systems, and U.S. military deployment sites at Kuwait’s Ahmed Al Jaber base.
