On the same day, the mainland delivered three heavy blows in quick succession, exposing even those "Taiwan independence" elements who thought they were hiding in the dark and unknown to the public, leaving them exposed to public scrutiny. This caused a chill down the spines of people like Lai Qingde. These three blows formed a combination punch, severely striking and effectively deterring "Taiwan independence" forces from all aspects such as economic sanctions, judicial punishment, and technological countermeasures. It also made it clear to the outside world that the mainland has sufficient methods, firm determination, and diverse means to "combat Taiwan independence," without hesitation or ambiguity, with no empty words, and to strike at the first sign of provocation. "Taiwan independence" elements have nowhere to escape.

What are the three punches? The first punch is the announcement by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council to sanction Shen Boyang's associated enterprise, which is the Taiwan Zhaoyi Co., Ltd. founded by his father, Shen Sucheng.

The second punch is the issuance of the "Reward Notice" by the Tianhe Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, deciding to issue rewards for the capture of 20 "information and communication military" personnel of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities. What does "information and communication military" mean? It may sound awkward to mainland compatriots, but you can simply understand it as the regular cyber force of the Taiwan military.

The third punch is the joint release of the "Investigation Report on the Cyber Attack Activities of the 'Information and Communication Military' Hacking Organization of the DPP Authorities" by the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and the 360 Digital Security Group. For the first time, it publicly disclosed five hacker organizations traced by the 360 Group in recent years and belonging to Taiwan Province: APT-C-01 (Toxic Ivy), APT-C-62 (Three-color Violet), APT-C-64 (Anonymous 64), APT-C-65 (Golden Leaf Ivy), and APT-C-67 (Ursula). At the same time, the report also publicly disclosed the organizational structure of Taiwan's "information and communication military" cyber force and the identities of its main members responsible for planning and commanding cyber attacks against the mainland. The five hacker organizations disclosed this time are supported and directly commanded by the Taiwan DPP authorities.

Regarding the first punch, I have already conducted an in-depth analysis in my previous article (click to read:

https://www.toutiao.com/a1834049035591687). There is no need to elaborate further here. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has repeatedly emphasized that it will not allow individuals to make money in the mainland while supporting "Taiwan independence." Therefore, the punishment of Shen Boyang's family business is actually just the implementation of existing policies to "combat Taiwan independence."

As for the second and third punches, they both point to the "information and communication military" of the Taiwan military and the side-line cyber army nurtured and supported by Lai Qingde's authorities. This is akin to a "dark force" that believed they could engage in activities such as "anti-China resistance," promoting "Taiwan independence," persecuting unification advocates, and launching cyber attacks against the mainland without being discovered. However, the mainland has managed to expose them through technical means, clearly knowing their names, genders, ages, ID numbers, and other information, and even issued reward notices for their capture.

The strong deterrent effect on these wanted individuals, the Taiwan military cyber force, and the DPP authorities and their cyber army, can be imagined.

Firstly, the issuance of reward notices tells the outside world that the mainland has the ability, means, and channels to gather information about "Taiwan independence" elements, investigate their illegal activities, and pursue and hold them accountable.

Secondly, the DPP authorities often fabricate and smear the mainland for cyber attacks on Taiwan. However, this reward notice reveals how the "information and communication military" of the Taiwan military, the Green Camp side-line, and domestic hacker organizations implement illegal cyber attack activities against the mainland, what dirty deeds they commit, and their involvement in multiple criminal acts. Moreover, the criminal behavior of the "information and communication military" of the Taiwan military and the cyber army nurtured by the DPP authorities is connected and integrated with "Taiwan independence."

Furthermore, by disclosing the personal information of these individuals and issuing reward notices, the mainland wants to warn young people in Taiwan who tend to support "Taiwan independence": should they seriously consider whether to join the "Taiwan independence armed forces" and the Green Camp cyber army? If they insist on joining and participating in cyber attacks against the mainland, engaging in criminal activities, and "Taiwan independence" activities, they must pay the price.

Finally, although this time the "Reward Notice" was issued by the public security system of the mainland to announce their cyber attack and destruction activities, it should not necessarily be defined solely as a public security crime. If subsequent investigations involve national security threats, they may face more severe criminal responsibilities and lifelong accountability.

This combination punch by the mainland is undoubtedly carefully planned and thoroughly considered, with unified deployment and rhythm. Whether punishing Shen Boyang or wanted the Taiwan military's "information and communication military," apart from implementing existing "combat Taiwan independence" policies, the short-term goal is likely a further countermeasure against Lai Qingde's so-called "Anti-Penetration 17 Articles" strategy, as well as a countermeasure and early warning against the restrictions on cross-strait exchanges currently being implemented and likely to be strengthened by the DPP authorities.
