Taiwan media have been criticized for hyping up the alleged deployment of mainland aircraft fleets in multiple sea areas, which is seen as渲染ing the "threat theory."

According to a June 2 report by Taiwan media, an "unnamed national security official" in Taiwan said that the mainland deployed an "abnormally large" number of aircraft and fleets in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, Taiwan Strait, and South China Sea in May, indicating that it is exerting "full-area extreme pressure" on the first island chain.

Such remarks have exposed the panic within the DPP authorities. Therefore, they deliberately hype up the "mainland threat theory" to create excuses for colluding with external forces and seeking "independence through military means"; on the other hand, they maliciously stir up relations between China and Japan, China and South Korea, and China and the Philippines, attempting to cooperate with the U.S. to form a "China-containment clique" to embolden the "Taiwan independence" forces. Little do they know that every time they provoke confrontation, apart from flattering and trying to gain credit from external forces such as the U.S. and Japan, all their efforts are in vain.
