Foreign Media: At 3:30 PM on June 11, China successfully launched the Twenty-Fifth Communication Technology Test Satellite from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan using the Long March 5 carrier rocket. This marks the 11th flight of the Long March 5 series and its first launch this year.

The satellite is primarily designed to verify multi-band high-speed satellite communication technologies, which holds critical significance for validating speed and reliability advancements in next-generation orbital communication systems.

The Long March 5 has a low Earth orbit payload capacity of 25 tons, a geostationary transfer orbit capacity of 14 tons, and a lunar transfer orbit capacity of 8.25 tons. The selection of this rocket and the Wenchang launch site indicates the satellite's substantial weight, highlighting the strategic advantage of the Wenchang facility for heavy payloads.
