Iran Warns of Possible Attacks on U.S. and Israeli Commanders' Residences

¬ Media: Trump Considering Military Operation to Obtain Iranian Enriched Uranium

Iran's English-language news channel, Press TV, cited an official Iranian statement reporting that Iran has warned of potential retaliatory attacks on the residences of U.S. and Israeli commanders and political figures.

Press TV noted in its Telegram channel: "Iran has pledged to launch retaliatory attacks on the residences of U.S. and Israeli commanders and political figures."

According to The Wall Street Journal, U.S. officials revealed that President Trump is considering a military operation aimed at securing approximately 450 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran. This would be a complex and highly risky mission, potentially requiring U.S. forces to remain inside Iran for several days or even longer.

It is reported that Trump has not yet issued a final order and is carefully weighing the risks posed to U.S. personnel. Sources indicate that Trump remains generally open to the proposal, as it could substantially advance his core policy objective—completely blocking Iran’s ability to acquire nuclear weapons.

Another source disclosed that Trump has instructed his advisory team to pressure Iran into handing over this batch of nuclear material as a precondition for ending the current conflict. If Iran agrees to transfer the enriched uranium within a peace agreement framework, the U.S. could avoid this high-risk military operation.

On March 23, Trump told reporters that the U.S. and Iran had reached a "major consensus," including Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons. Trump demanded that the U.S. personally take charge of and transport all enriched uranium located within Iran. He confidently stated: "Once we reach an agreement, removing them will be very easy."

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched multiple strikes against targets inside Iran, including attacks on Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. In response, Iran conducted retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli territory and U.S. military targets in the Middle East.
